We are proud to announce that veteran criminal defense attorney Elizabeth Wiggins was just named one of Texas’ Rising Stars by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers Magazine. 

Super Lawyers is one of the most respected attorney rating programs in the country. The Rising Star honor that Ms. Wiggins received is a distinction that is reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys in the state who are under 40 or have been practicing less than 10 years. To be considered, attorneys must be nominated by their peers. They are then evaluated based on 12 categories and reviewed by a panel of highly credentialed attorneys.

Wiggins graduated from Texas A&M University’s school of law in 2014. After passing the bar that same year, Wiggins started her career as a prosecutor in the Williamson County Attorney’s Office in Georgetown. She worked her way up from Justice of the Peace courts to being the lead prosecutor in Williamson County Court 1. Wiggins developed her craft as a prosecutor managing up to 1200+ cases at a time.

After years as an Assistant County Attorney, Wiggins left the Williamson County Attorney’s Office to become a criminal defense attorney. She now uses her experience as a former prosecutor to defend those accused of crimes including DWI at the Price & Twine in Georgetown, Texas. The Rising Star award is a recognition of Elizabeth Wiggins exceptional abilities and experience as a defense attorney and our firm is pleased to have such a talented lawyer on our team.
